A specialized academic program designed to help students with dyslexia and reading challenges build strong literacy skills and lasting confidence.

We serve students in kindergarten through 4th grade Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM-1:30 PM in a daytime School program.

Meet the Founders

Shannia Dozier Eds, CALT, LDT, SLT

Co-Founder and School Director

Shannia Dozier serves as School Director of Dozier’s Academy. With advanced training in dyslexia therapy, language development, and educational leadership, she brings both expertise and passion to supporting students with dyslexia.
Mrs. Dozier holds a Master’s Degree in Dyslexia Therapy and is a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT), Certified Speech-Language Therapist (SLT), certified Special Educator K-12 Mild to Moderate Disabilities and holds a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership (EdS).
With years of experience serving students with dyslexia in both educational and therapeutic settings, she is committed to providing structured, evidence-based instruction that builds confidence, strengthens foundational skills, and leads to measurable academic growth. Her leadership helps ensure that every student receives individualized support in a nurturing, faith-centered environment.

Thomas Dozier

Founder & Dean of Students and Family Relations

Thomas Dozier is passionate about supporting students and strengthening families through encouragement, leadership, and faith. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and has years of experience working with students with behavioral challenges. With a background in youth leadership and life coaching, he is dedicated to helping students grow in confidence, character, and personal responsibility while building strong relationships with families and the community.
