About Dozier’s Academy
Vision
At Dozier’s Academy of Dyslexia, we envision an environment where every child with dyslexia discovers their strengths, gains confidence in their abilities, and is equipped to thrive academically and beyond—finding their roar and reaching their full potential.
Mission
At Dozier’s Academy, our mission is to build strong readers, confident learners, and future-ready students through structured, dyslexia-focused instruction grounded in Christian values.
Meet the Family Behind the Mission
As parents of children with dyslexia, the Dozier family understands firsthand the challenges many students face when learning to read. What began in 2019 as an after school dyslexia therapy program grew through years of helping students build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and experience academic success.
Helping children with dyslexia is more than a profession for the Dozier family—it is a personal calling and passion. Their heart has always been not only to support their own children, but also to serve children and families throughout their community who need hope, support, and specialized instruction.
Through witnessing the impact the program had on families, Mr. Dozier envisioned that the support being provided could one day grow into a full-time school dedicated specifically to students with dyslexia. After many years of serving students in educational and therapeutic settings, Mrs. Dozier took a leap of faith—believing God had called her to create a place where children with dyslexia could receive the specialized instruction, encouragement, and support they deserve.
Today, Dozier’s Academy of Dyslexia exists with a mission to help students become strong readers, confident learners, and future-ready individuals in a structured, faith-centered environment.
