Dozier’s Academy of Dyslexia is a small, structured academic program for students who struggle with reading, including dyslexia. Our school admission for dyslexia process is designed to ensure the best fit for each student and our program.

Student Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have a primary diagnosis of dyslexia or demonstrate characteristics consistent with dyslexia. To maintain a structured and supportive learning environment, students must be able to participate in classroom instruction without significant behavioral challenges that would interfere with learning or student safety.

Application Process

Step 1: Complete the Inquiry Form & Submit Application Fee
All families must first complete the online inquiry/application form and submit the non-refundable $50 application fee. Submission of the application and fee does not guarantee acceptance or enrollment into the program.

After the inquiry form and application fee have been received, the admissions team will review your child’s information and records. Families will then receive either an acceptance letter or denial letter by email.

If your child is accepted into the program, you may proceed with the official enrollment process through Gradelink.

Using the Gradelink Website

Click the enrollment button below.
Create your Gradelink account.
Check your email for the verification link and click the link provided.
Log in to your Gradelink account.
Complete all enrollment steps and required forms.
Upload all required documents.
Submit the enrollment fee.

Required Documents
(All documents must be scanned and uploaded through Gradelink)

• Parent/Guardian Driver’s License
• Student 121 Form
• Student Birth Certificate
• Student Social Security Card
• Evaluation report showing your child’s diagnosis
(Parents should also be prepared to provide a copy of the full evaluation report upon request.)

Your enrollment packet will remain pending until all required documents and payment have been received.
Incomplete packets or unpaid fees may delay enrollment processing.
Failure to submit all required items may result in your child losing their placement opportunity for the upcoming school year due to limited enrollment availability.

A student's seat is not reserved until all required steps have been completed. Your child must be officially accepted and the registration fee paid with a completed application.

Drop-Off: 7:30–8:00 AM
